Sure there are many things I regret in my life, but I am so very grateful that I started doing these 1 second a day videos years ago. They become more precious each year. What an amazing year this has been. Holy moly. And I know the word amazing is completely over used but I mean it in all sincerity. It’s been an amazing year. After living in Buffalo, NY for 30 years, add 25 for my husband, we sold our home and moved out to the country. We now have over an acres of land. We live in a ranch home. We see stars at night and can exhale like never before. No sirens or loud noises. New scenery and stimulations.

After 30 years of living in the City of Buffalo, we now have land to enjoy and a ranch home to grow old in.

Before our very eyes, three incredible people entered our lives. Our daughter fell in love with a handsome widower in the hospital where they both worked tirelessly during covid and now their wedding is only a month away! His two sons have added joy and life to our lives full speed ahead.

Watch movie here.

We lived through the renovations of a new kitchen and lived without a kitchen sink for 3 months. You know the old expression “everything takes longer than you think.”

The travel was plentiful and I was able to visit the scenic Nubble Light House in York, Maine 3 times, along with seeing the production of Ester 3 times in Lancaster, Pa at the Sight and Sound Theatre. Trips to New England were so stimulating and enjoying 3 different lobster bakes were most memorable. Another highlight was visiting the Biltmore in Asheville, NC and Nashville, Tennessee at Christmas. Most recently we visited Santa Barbara, California for the wedding of our beautiful niece Johanna.

America’s castle, the Biltmore estate in Asheville, North Carolina.

Yet, the greatest memory of all, was being there for our grandson Peter week in and week out as we watched him grow from age 1 to age 2. There is so much good, even in these uncertain times, and to give thanks and praise God for being alive at this moment. We do our best to not give into worldly fear and keep on praying! Harden not your hearts, but in all things give praise.

Thank you for viewing,

Here’s to the next second.

Sincerely, Trish
