Shopping, Travel Christmas at Corning Museum of Glass December 3, 2018

Located conveniently in the middle of NYState – halfway between NYCity and Buffalo, you will find the Corning Museum of Glass.

Have you been to Corning, NY lately? May I suggest you visit at Christmas time. Since 2008, the Ornament Tree was created displaying more than 600 ornaments handmade by the hot glass show staff. The tree is now 14 feet tall, with more than 2,000 glass ornaments made by Museum glassmakers. It makes for a beautiful photo opportunity.

The tree displays wonder and beauty like no other Holiday tree. All those beautiful and colorful glass ornaments. What else makes it a great visit is the opportunity to help create your own glass holiday ornament.

It’s such a fun place to visit. They have live glass demos in a comfortable amphitheater. The gift shop is unique with something for everyone with irresistible sale prices.

The gift shops is filled with beautiful merchandise and the After Thanksgiving Sale is worth the trip. Prices are unbelievable low.

Let me know if you have been there. I have the After Thanksgiving Sale on my To-DO list to return.

You gotta give the Corning Glass people credit for creating such a destination museum featuring such stunning glass works. You will not ever look at a glass vase the same. If you are looking for Pyrex, you’ll find lots of it here.

The glass ornament tree is alone worth the trip.

Sincerely, Trish
